Why is NA Bulk Price Editor not changing the prices?

If you have completed a price change job in NA Bulk Price Editor but can’t see any changes on your website, this guide will help you fix this issue.

The first step is to check the price in the Shopify admin dashboard. Go to a product that the price change job changed and check that the price in the admin is the same as what you expect

Either the price will match what you expect or not.

If the price does match what you expect, the NA Bulk Price Editor app has successfully changed the base price. If the website is not showing this price, then the problem could be one of the following:

  1. Sometime it just takes a few minutes for Shopify to show the new prices
  2. If your website uses fixed market prices, those will always overwrite the base price. So even if the app changes the price it won’t show because the website is showing the fixed market prices. In this case you should use the app to update the fixed market prices as well. See NA Bulk Price Editor Shopify Markets
  3. If your website shows the expected price on some pages but not other pages, this issue is probably not caused by NA Bulk Price Editor. The app does not change the price on a page-by-page basis, it changes the price directly in the Shopify database. The app does not make any theme changes. If prices show differently depending on the page you should contact your theme developer and ask them why the price is not showing consistently.

If you checked the Shopify admin dashboard and the price does not match what you expect:

  1. Double check the price change jobs that changed the product. Is it possible that multiple price change jobs changed the same products and one of the price change jobs was reverted?
  2. Is it possible that another system that also can edit products on your store may have changed the prices back? For example if you have an inventory syncing system working on your store, this store may have overwritten the changes made by NA Bulk Price Editor.
